We would like to thank our friends at Harbor Freight for their donation of a Predator 4375 Generator. Last year, we were able to receive a donation of another Predator 2000 inverter from Harbor Freight as well. These tools stay in our Special Operations Trailer which we take with us to special events and operations. Specifically, they can help us power our trailers and other tools. Keep an eye out for these special tools as we have different special events we operate at coming up! π #hftgivesback ... See MoreSee Less

The individuals who will be leading this new era at the Town of Newburgh EMS have been selected.0 CommentsComment on Facebook
Exciting news! Our agency has taken a step forward in the process of establishing our ALS division. As of March, we have appointed the leaders of our up-and-coming program π
Assistant Chief of ALS, Ralph βBoβ Tunno, comes to our agency with over 30 years of EMS experience. Bo is well-versed in staff recruitment, development, orientation and business administration. With his education background in Emergency Medicine and Business Management, Bo will be able to oversee the continuing progress of our ALS division.
Second Assistant Chief of ALS, Gerrit Blauvelt, has served our area as a Paramedic for the last 20 years. He has experience working as a Director of Field Operations, Lieutenant, Clinical Coordinator and Tactical EMS Team Leader. With his experience, we will be able to provide incoming paramedics with the appropriate clinical knowledge and quality improvement.
Second Assistant Chief of Training, Richard Lenahan, has an extensive background working as a Paramedic and Educator. Rich has over 24 years of field experience as a paramedic in various functions. He is also an ALS CIC, which is a valuable asset to our agency. This will allow us to have all of our providers, ALS and BLS, maintain their appropriate certifications in-house.
We are more than excited to welcome these individuals to TONEMS. Keep an eye out for more updates on our ALS expansion! π
