Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC)

The Emergency Vehicle Operator Course provides emergency vehicle operators with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely operate an emergency vehicle in emergency and non-emergency mode. Topics covered include legal aspects of emergency vehicle operations, navigation and route mapping, driver roles and responsibilities, basic driving skills, and proper driving procedures.

Available for All emergency services including EMS, Fire, Police. Home agency must provide vehicle for driving skills portion of class.

Class Length: Approximately 8 Hours

– Have a copy of the receipt available to show the instructor on the day of the class if asked.
