Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a set of life-saving protocols and skills used by medical professionals to treat patients in cardiac arrest or other severe cardiovascular emergencies. It builds upon basic life support (BLS) by incorporating advanced interventions like defibrillation, airway management, and medication administration to improve survival rates and preserve neurological function.
